We have a wealth of expertise in developing solutions that meet the programmatic and economic objectives of our many clients and have been honored to complete hundreds of projects over five decades in the following areas: 

People

Adam Wakulchik

Adam is a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA). After studying Architecture at St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology, Adam graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a Master of Architecture degree with High Distinction. His knowledge of steel detailing and fabrication proves invaluable on every project as his knowledge of fabrication has been developed through both hands-on and theoretical experience. He has worked on the firm’s complex conceptual designs, and has extensive experience with contract document production. Adam displays a high attention to detail and problem-solving skills along with strong communication skills which enable him to produce highly professional work — day in and day out. Further, Adam often leads or supports the firm’s construction administration services. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from private sector and public sector work of numerous scales and complexities.

Colin McDonald

Colin is a licensed architect, a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and a LEED Accredited Professional. After studying Fine Arts at the University of Windsor, Colin graduated with an Honours Degree with High Distinction in architecture from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Here he embraced the studio atmosphere as a foundation for critical thinking, dialogue and creativity. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from urban design to commercial and institutional buildings. He has experience in all phases of project delivery including site and master planning, coordination of consulting teams, construction documentation, bidding and contract administration.

Gerard Gutierrez

Gerard has over 15 years of experience working in the Architectural profession. After completing his undergrad at Lawrence Technological University, he obtained his Master of Architecture at the University of Toronto with a focus on architecture’s impact in urban environments. Gerard utilized these formative experiences and applied them to a wide array of projects throughout his career. From working on museum and skyscraper designs in Northern Europe to complex education and office transformations throughout South Western Ontario and the Midwest, his work exemplifies high design. In addition to Urban Design works, he has also designed numerous workplace and social space projects for Ford, General Motors, and Google. He has coordinated housing masterplans, adaptive-reuse building designs and urban art installations.

This wealth of local and international work, along with diverse project experiences, has empowered Gerard with a unique perspective on the evolving nature of design. He also aims to engage with his community through activities like teaching in the Architectural Technology Program at the College level and serving as the Education and Outreach chair for the Windsor Region Society of Architects.

Li Ling Bae

Ms. Bae is an AWI-certified millwork specialist and a leading project manager with vast experience in project coordination and estimating. Combined with a technical background that includes work in the millwork industry, Ms. Bae’s expertise shines during construction, where she is able to handle project management with great thoroughness. She has coordinated the architectural detailing and fabrication of both interior and exterior systems with an acute eye for minimizing project costs to clients. In her nearly two-decades of experience in the design and construction industry, she has worked on projects across North America and she showcases her masterful organizational skills on every project. As a crucial member of our team, she has worked with clients, consultants, general contractors and installers to ensure every project exceeds design, cost and schedule goals.

Sophia Simone

Sophia began her education with a Portfolio Scholarship at University of Windsor as a Bachelor of Fine Art’s student. After a year of enhancing her creative knowledge and abilities, she transferred to Architecture at St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology and graduated top of her class with Academic Distinction. She continued onto Lawrence Technological University and graduated with a Master of Architecture with high distinction. During her working career, Ms. Simone has employed her keen communicative skills through project design and construction documentation. Her attention to detail and creative background allow here to approach projects through a unique lens where design and technical needs merge. She has been involved in historical upgrades, including the full facade upgrade at Walkerville Collegiate Institute, Windsor, ON.

Robert Misiag

Robert is completing his studies in Architecture at Lawrence University while maintaining an active role as a junior designer at JPTA. His exposure to complex architectural and construction projects places his skill and talent trajectory into overdrive. Robert is a highly motivated and enthusiastic young professional. He works on all aspects of the firm’s project workflow – including working with consulting team members and assisting with the coordination of construction documents.
